Sandblast Volleyball Tournament

IMPORTANT: Sandblast Tournament Changes

  • Location Change: Sandblast will be held at CLU sand volleyball courts
  • Team Registration due by 3pm on Friday Sept. 6th
  • Individual Registration due by 5pm on Friday Sept. 6th (all player must be individually registered to be eligible to play)
  • Check in at 10:15am at the sand volleyball court next to Mogan dorm
  • Tournament starts at 11am. Tournament bracket will be posted tomorrow morning
  • Sandblast changes do not reflect what is on the posters around campus

***Sandblast Captains Meeting Thursday Sept. 5th 7pm in GSFC Room 253*** (Mandatory for team captains and captains thinking about signing up)

***  Team Registration and Individual Registration is due Friday September 6th by 2 pm. There are no late entries into the tournament. Captains: make sure that each member of your team has individually registered before the deadline!!!  ***
 
(Any participant that has not individually registered before the Friday deadline cannot participate in the tournament)

Team fee: $10 (this money is due from each team at the Captains Meeting on Thursday Sept. 5th)

Tournament starts at 11:00am

Team Check in: 10:15am

***Sandblast Captains Meeting Thursday Sept. 5th 7pm in the Gilbert Sports and Fitness Center Room 253***

Roster Regulations:

  • 4 vs. 4 games
  • Min. of 4 players and a Max. of 10 player per team
  • Best of three - matches to 15 pts.
  • Must have at least one player of each gender playing at all times
  • No more than two varsity sport athletes playing at a time
     (Pertains to each team)
  • Only current CLU students, staff, and faculty allowed to play

Items to bring:

  • Sunscreen
  • Beach towel
  • Backpack
  • Water, Gatorade, etc.
  • Food and Snacks
