Project Goals
- To explore vocation in the context of Lutheran commitment to liberal arts education and to connect personal stories of vocation and purpose to our own institutional story.
- To integrate vocation into student leadership programs, student employment, mentoring, teaching, and advising.
- To foster interdisciplinary and co-curricular connections between staff and faculty to share best practices from their respective fields.
- To grow a cadre of in-house facilitators on the topic of vocation who can help others integrate vocation into courses and programs.
- To provide resources for professional development and seed money to improve efforts on campus to incorporate vocational reflection into experiential learning, both in academic courses and co-curricular programming.
