Course Terms & Calendar
Students have the option of completing the program in two or three years based on a full-time or part-time course schedule.
The full-time program is a two-year (24-month) program. Students that take their courses part-time can complete their coursework and practicum in three years (36 months).
The program calendar runs on 15-week semesters in the Fall and Spring, as well as a 6-week Summer Session.
Please note that the Practicum courses (PSYC 591, 592, 593, 594, 595) do not follow the typical 15-week semester due to the nature of clinical work. Practicum coursework and responsibilities begin in late July and last for a minimum of one year. Students must attend Practicum class and are expected to be available for all clinical activities in conjunction with Program and clinical site policies. Once students begin Practicum, students are expected to be present and available when the University is open and any requests for absences must be approved. Time missed could delay on-time graduation.
