Asian Studies

Minor

Asia is an integral and rapidly growing part of our global society.

Studying Asia’s diverse cultures will give you valuable perspective as you work in today’s internationally-minded industries — especially those located here on the Pacific Rim.

What you’ll study

In order to gain a rich understanding of the Asian continent, your classes will cover multiple disciplines, including language, history, literature, philosophy, religion, business, and political science. Enhance your studies by taking an optional travel course — a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in one of the cultures you are studying.

The material I learn about in class helps me get a better understanding of the history and culture of where I study abroad and how Asia affects the global stage.
