Meal Plans

Our meal plans are intended to give you value and flexibility. There are multiple options to ensure that you can find a plan that suits your needs.
The 19 Meal Plan, 210 Block and 190 Block meal plans are for students living in standard residence halls (Mt. Clef, Pederson, Thompson, Old West, and New West). Freshmen must select the 19 Meal Plan or the 210 Block Plan.
The Combo and Flex plans are light enough for commuters or those living in apartment-style
residences with kitchens.

Types of Credits
- Flex Dollars
-
Flex dollars are purchased as part of your meal plan and work like cash at any of the campus dining locations. For example, if you wanted to treat one of your parents to a coffee while they were in town visiting you, you could use your Flex Dollars to do that at Starbucks.
Items purchased with Flex Dollars are not subject to sales tax. Unused Flex Dollars roll over from semester to semester, but expire and are nonrefundable at the end of the academic year. If you run out of Flex Dollars you can add Munch Money to your ID card.
- Munch Money
-
Munch Money is like cash that can be added to your ID card at any time. It can be used to purchase food at any of the dining locations on campus. Whenever you make a purchase, simply present your card to the cashier and the amount will be deducted from your balance. Munch Money will not expire with your meal plan and sales tax is applied to your purchases.
For every dollar of Munch Money purchased you'll receive 10% more for free! For example, if you purchase $100 worth of Munch Money you'll actually receive $110 in your account.
- Guest Meals
-
The 19 Meal Plan, 210 and 190 Block Plans all come with 3 guest meals per semester that can only be used at Ullman Commons. These guest meals can be used to treat a parent or friend that is in town for the weekend. Guest meals do not roll over from semester to semester.
Important Information
All residential students not living in apartment-style residence halls (Kramer, Mogen, Grace, or Trinity) are required to have a meal plan and freshmen must purchase a 19 Meal or 210 Block plan. Only one block plan may be purchased per semester. All students can purchase a meal plan through the Residence Life Office.
- Your ID Card
-
You'll need to present your ID card each time you visit one of the dining venues to use your meal plan. If you lose your ID card, you will need to replace it immediately because you will not be able to utilize your meal plan without it. If you have lost your ID card, please contact Campus Safety so that they may issue you a new one. The Campus Security non-emergency phone number is 493-3208.
- Holidays & Breaks
-
Dining venues have limited hours during break periods and no meal plans can be used over winter break.
