Coming to the U.S. from Overseas: 14-day Quarantine!

Current F-1 visa students returning to the U.S. to study this fall from outside of the U.S. are required to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival in order to comply with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regulations. International students and U.S. students living overseas who have a fall 2020 housing assignment can expect to quarantine on campus in a separate complex upon arrival to the U.S. Contact reslife@callutheran.edu

Off campus residence students must quarantine in the housing accommodations they have made.

  About Housing this Fall 2020:
  • International students are eligible to apply for on-campus housing with Residence Life. Be certain to write “INTERNATIONAL STUDENT” on your application and submit asap. The original July 1 deadline has been waived for international students and an F-1 student will be given priority review. Residence Life will provide self-quarantine facilities for 14-days prior to a student moving into the assigned residence hall for the full semester. Move in dates have been scheduled for August 24th -27th.
  • If living off-campus, you should self-quarantine in the accommodation you have booked (apartment, house, etc.). Students who plan to find accommodation after arriving to Thousand Oaks can consider hotel options or AirBnB or other temporary housing services.
  •  Discounted local hotel options include Hampton Inn & Suites ($79 per night for Cal Lu students)
