Courses I teach at CLU include Lifespan & Development, Substance Abuse & Dependency, Psychopathology, Gender & Sexuality, and Systems of Pyschotherapy & Counseling. As a Clinical Director for a adolescent residential treatment program for co-occurring disorders, I treated clients from a trauma informed, strength-based, cognitive behavioral, solution focused framework and I also led a clinical team in providing these treatment services. I also treat clients at a univesity counseling center.
My specialty has been working with adolescents and transitional youth in substance abuse treatment and college students at a university counseling center. I have extensive experience and training in trauma informed and strength based treatment modalities.
