CLU Administrator, Student Receive Inspiration Awards

Della Greenlee, Director of Grants and Scholarships, and student Amanda Klever received Inspiration Awards during a special ceremony in Samuelson Chapel on Dec. 10.

The recipients were selected by a university committee to receive the awards that are given to an inspirational student and CLU employee annually. The undisclosed cash award, provided by two anonymous CLU alumni, is designed to recognize the generous efforts and contributions of the recipients, who are chosen because they inspire others to grow intellectually and spiritually.

Greenlee was recognized for her contributions as an administrator and mentor. As a member of the CLU staff since 1976, Greenlee worked for former CLU President Mark Mathews before joining the development team 21 years ago.

Klever, a senior education major from Phoenix, Ariz., is a member of the cross country team and an accomplished violinist and vocalist. She was praised for her participation in many organizations on campus and her keen ability to listen to and comfort others.
