CLU to Inaugurate New Graduate Center in Oxnard

(THOUSAND OAKS, CA – January 2006) –– California Lutheran University has recently moved its graduate center from the Ventura County Government Center area of Ventura to The Palms in Oxnard. An inauguration of the center will be held on Thursday, March 9.

The CLU graduate center, which opened it’s doors for classes on Jan, 2, will serve master's degree and credential students from the west county and points north. CLU had operated a center in Ventura since 1998. The Woodland Hills Graduate Center will continue to serve graduate and credential students in the San Fernando Valley area.

"It is a perfect fit to have our graduate center in this newly renovated center in Oxnard where we can provide programs for working professionals who live and work near the west end of Ventura County," said Dr. Leanne Neilson, assistant provost of graduate programs at CLU.
The Graduate Center is located at The Palms, 2000 Outlet Center Drive, Suites 150 and 160. The center includes seven classrooms, a computer lab, a library, student lounge and four offices.

CLU's graduate centers serve the business community by offering a Master of Public Policy and Administration, Master of Business Administration and a post MBA certificate program. The graduate centers serve the educational community through a variety of master's degree programs in Counseling and Guidance, Special Education and Educational Leadership, as well as Teacher Preparation programs.
