Six members reelected to CLU Board of Regents

New faculty chair, ASCLU president to also serve on Board of Regents

(THOUSAND OAKS, CA – October 2006) Six members of the California Lutheran University Board of Regents were reelected to serve three-year terms on the University’s governing board.

Elected for additional terms were Michael Bradbury (Ojai), an attorney with Weston Benshoof and former District Attorney for Ventura County; Rod Gilbert (Santa Barbara), President and CFO of TOLD Corporation; Yale Gieszl (Rolling Hills), Senior Advisor for Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc.; William Kane (Chatsworth), a partner with Ernst and Young; Kate McLean (Westlake Village), former President and CEO of Ventura County Community Foundation; and Jamey Power (Westlake Village), Executive Vice President and Senior Partner of J.D. Power and Associates.

Bradbury, Gilbert, Gieszl, Kane, McLean and Power were officially confirmed on the Board of Regents on Oct. 20 during CLU’s Founders Day Convocation in Samuelson Chapel. Sharon Docter, Ph.D. (Northridge), faculty chair and a professor of communication, and Autumn Malloy (Las Vegas, Nev.), president of the Associated Students of CLU will also serve on the Board of Regents as representatives of the faculty and students, respectively.

CLU is a selective liberal arts and sciences university located in Thousand Oaks, with graduate centers in Oxnard and Woodland Hills.
