(THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - Nov. 3, 2011) Two new members of the California Lutheran University Board of Regents were installed during Founders Day Convocation on Oct. 28.

The new regents are Newbury Park resident Rick Lemmo, senior vice president of community relations for Caruso Affiliated, and Calabasas resident Deborah Sweeney, CEO of MyCorporation. They will serve three-year terms on the 31-member board responsible for helping to guide the policies of the university.

The following regents were re-elected to three-year terms: Port Hueneme resident Ted Jensen, a retired flight test engineer with Hughes Aircraft; Glendale resident Bill Krantz, former principal with Boston Partners Asset Management; Thousand Oaks resident Susan Lundeen-Smuck, vice president of human resources for Kythera Biopharmaceuticals; Ventura resident Ron McDaniel, president and CEO of California Credit Union; White Bear Lake, Minn., resident David Tiede, president emeritus of Luther Seminary; and Westlake Village resident Tim Wennes, vice chairman and chief retail banking officer of Union Bank.

CLU is a selective university located in Thousand Oaks, with centers in Oxnard and Woodland Hills for graduate courses and its Adult Degree Evening Program. With an enrollment of 4,100 students, CLU offers 36 undergraduate majors and graduate programs within the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Management and Graduate School of Education. Doctoral degrees in educational leadership, higher education leadership and clinical psychology are also offered.
