Clubs & Orgs Grant Opportunity
Funding available for new and returning events
Dear Clubs and Organizations of California Lutheran University,
The ASCLU Senate is holding a contest for all clubs and organizations to compete for a grant that will support a brand new event that a club wishes to host. The purpose of this contest is for clubs to submit a creative proposal for a new event that they believe will be valuable for the entire student body and that will showcase their club's purpose. Proposals will be judged by a committee of ASCLUG representatives. The committee will vote for a 1st place winner to receive a $500 grant and 2nd place winner to receive a $300 grant for their event. This funding will be added onto your already allocated club funds.
Proposals will be judged based on:
Creativity
Feasibility
Thoughtfulness
Utilization of a unique marketing strategy

Does your club already host a great yearly event that you feel could be improved with the support of an additional grant from senate? This grant applies to you as well! Submit a proposal and tell us what you would add to your event if you won! The committee will vote for one event to receive a $200 grant.

The deadline to submit your proposal is December 14th at 5:00pm. A committee will vote for the best proposals based on the criteria. The winners will be announced and awarded during Finals Week via email.
