A chamber orchestra sponsored by Chamber Music Plus will perform Haydn’s Cello Concerto with Joyce Geeting, cellist. Also featured will be "Variations on a Theme of Frank Bridge" by Benjamin Britten. Daniel Geeting conducts.

The Center for Leadership and Values at California Lutheran University will host Steve Vernon, President of Rest-of-Life Communications, as part of the Distinguished Speakers Series. Vernon will discuss “How Much Money and Things Do We Need to Be Happy?” on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 4 p.m. in Samuelson Chapel. Admission is free and open to the public.
