Join us at the Centrum Monday through Thursday mornings at 8:30 AM to have a 20 minute devotion and breakfast. Devotions will begin Monday, Sept. 18, and continue through the end of the semester.

Dr. Marcos Vargas is the founding Executive Director of the Central Coast Alliance United for a Sustainable Economy (CAUSE), a community planning and policy research center serving the California central coast of Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. He will speak on “Building a Sustainable Grassroots Movement for Economic Justice: A Case Study of the Ventura County Living Wage Movement.”

The School of Education at California Lutheran University will inaugurate the Michael A. Moffitt Educational Leadership Lecture Series on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 4 p.m., in the Spies-Bornemann Center for Education and Technology, Room 140. The lecture, which will feature internationally renowned author and educator Brent Davies, Ph.D., is free and open to the public.
