Mother’s Day Pops Concert

A special feature of the University Symphony’s Mother’s Day Pops Concert will be the rarely heard suite from Erich Korngold’s score to The Adventures of Robin Hood starring Errol Flynn.

Also included will be selections from Richard Rodgers’ South Pacific with several student soloists. Daniel Geeting conducts.

The concert will be performed in the Bandstand located in the center of the beautiful Thousand Oaks landmark Gardens of the World. Lawn seating; bring blankets or lawn chairs for your comfort.

Admission is free. Gates open at 1 p.m. Gardens of the World is located at 2001 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. across from the Civic Arts Plaza. Parking is available on Thousand Oaks Boulevard and at the Civic Arts Plaza ($8 fee will apply). In case of rain, the concert will be held on campus in Samuelson Chapel.
