Water Use

Water has always been an important issue in California - especially Southern California! Cal Lutheran has taken many important steps toward a more sustainable use of water, including the installation of low-flow toilets, dual-flush systems, and centralized irrigation control, just to name a few.

Additionally, almost all of our new landscaping is done with drought-tolerant (mostly native) plant species, and we have laid the plans for a graywater collection system.
