Noah Meisner '16 & Torrey Fernandez '16
Torrey and I were two wide-eyed freshman just starting our journey in a new place. It was the day of the painting of the rocks (the second day we were at Cal Lu) and Torrey had run into a friend that I knew from home on their hike up to the rocks. I met him for lunch at the caf, but little did I know he would be introducing me to my future wife. Torrey and I instantly became best friends, but didn't start dating until March of 2013. I couldn't possibly fit our story into 200 words, but all I can say is I met my soul mate at Cal Lu! Six years later we now live in Fort Collins, Colorado, and are engaged to be married on September 22nd, 2019! Torrey now owns her own adaptive and accessible yoga business that serves children with special needs in the Northern Colorado community, and I am graduating with my Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University in March 2019. I can't wait to marry my best friend! and the rest as they say... is history!
