Grant Writing Workshop

Grant Writing Workshop

Grant writing is a skill highly sought after by non-profit, education, criminal justice, science, and government employers! It is the ability to acquire funding for the organization’s projects.

Please join the Career Services department as we welcome guest speaker Jesse Schoeffling from Cal Lutheran’s Office of Sponsored Research and Projects for a presentation on Securing Grant Funding for your projects, programs, and research. This workshop will give you an overview of the tools you will need to submit a competitive and engaging grant proposal, including resources for finding relevant funders (both government agencies and family foundations), how to create pre-grant products so that you are ready when the right opportunity comes along, evaluating a request for proposal to ensure that it aligns with your work, and breaking down the elements of a winning proposal.
