We are transitioning to virtual tutoring and more information will be made available soon. We apologize for the inconvenience. What is the Math Center?

The Math Center is a state-of-the-art space for students to work on mathematical concepts and problem solving with their peers. The space includes multiple whiteboards and whiteboard tables, loaner laptops with mathematical software, a large smart TV, and class textbooks available for use. We run workshops on various math topics, time management, and study skills. Our tutors are here for students who need math help from intermediate Algebra to Calculus II.

What does the Math Center do?

We offer help on: homework, test preparation, mathematical understanding, problem solving, and study skills. We can help you use technology to better understand your math content. We also offer workshops on relevant course content.

Do I need an appointment?

All tutoring is on a drop-in basis. We ask that students bring questions on work that they have already attempted so that we may better assist them. Due to limited space in the center, workshop attendance requires students to sign up online.
