What’s the best part about working in the Math Center?
The best part about working in the Math Center is being able to help other people
in a subject I am good at. Being able to help them fills me with a sense of pride
and accomplishment.
What has been your best tutoring experience so far?
My favorite memory of tutoring was when I was teaching a group of students the week
before finals. It was hectic and I was trying to teach about 5 students at the same
time. I was exhausted once my shift was over but each of my students were very grateful
for these last second tutoring sessions.
What are your math strengths or area(s) of expertise?
I have no area of expertise in math. I like doing a bit of everything and I am the
kind of person that likes to dip his toes into everything.
What do you want to do after you graduate?
I don't have a concrete plan of what I want to do after graduating. All I know is
that I will do my best out there with my double major in Math and Economics and search
for a job.
What are some of your hobbies and/or interests?
I like playing video games and watch movies and animes. I have been recently addicted
to Valorant even though I know how toxic the community is.
Current favorite song?
Peaches from the Mario Movie.

What’s the best part about working in the Math Center?
The best part about working at the Math Center is, well, math! Working here was my
priority before I even got to CLU. There were quite some other job postings but I
waited until an opening at the Math Center arose because this is where I genuinely
wanted to be. I enjoy working here and helping people understand mathematical concepts
better.
What has been your best tutoring experience so far?
My best tutoring experience so far was when a calculus student said they actually
got a better grasp of some of the calculus concepts because of me tutoring them. Calculus
is regarded as one of the most difficult branches of Mathematics, which is why someone
saying that to me meant a lot and instilled in me a great feeling of pride in my skills,
as a tutor, of personalizing the way I teach someone based on the way of learning
they're most comfortable with and find most effective for themself.
What are your math strengths or area(s) of expertise?
I'm proficient upto Calculus II. I can also help with MATH 343 if needed, as well
as Calculus III (MATH 261) and Probability and Statistics (MATH 352) starting Fall
2023.
What do you want to do after you graduate?
As of now, my plans are to go to grad school for a Masters in Physics, and my ultimate
goal is to become a researcher.
What are some of your hobbies and/or interests?
I am a vocalist, pianist and a guitarist. I write songs once in a while. If you're
around me a lot, you would find me humming songs most of the time! I'd like to believe
I'm good at sketching and painting as well. I also play badminton (not professionally
though). I like solving challenging math problems whenever I get the chance to.
