Professional Development Day
Save the Date! May 16, 2012
The purpose of CLU’s Professional Development Day is for members of the University community to build relationships, to learn more about the university, and to share best practices in our work at CLU.
This year the Professional Development Day will take place on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. It will begin with morning coffee and tea followed by a plenary session. The morning will continue with breakout sessions and end with the Faculty/Staff Recognition Lunch hosted by Human Resources.

Yoga@Work
- Audrey Walzer from Camarillo Yoga Center led two sessions about Yoga@Work. Audrey is the owner of the Camarillo Yoga Center, and “The Yoga Lady” on Bo Jaxon’s B95.1 morning radio show. Audrey was voted “Ventura County’s Best” yoga teacher in the 2011 VC Reporter’s reader’s poll.
Other sessions include presentations on CLU's new Strategic Plan, working with international students, a Facilities building update, dealing with difficult students and colleagues, and many more. Some of the sessions will also be available in Spanish.
