Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs)
Overview
Faculty developed CLU’s institution-wide Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) beginning in 2000. Over time, each outcome became more clearly defined and faculty determined where the outcomes would be embedded in the curriculum and co-curriculum. By the conclusion of the 2003-04 academic year, faculty had reached consensus on the Educational Objectives which included Core Commitments, Learning Environment, and the SLOs. During the 2007 – 08 academic year, faculty will be involved in reviewing the definitions of each of the SLOs.
