The Educational Sorority is a group of current teachers who would like to be a mentor to you as they offer support and open up their classrooms. This is a great opportunity to make connections not only for field work but also for job references and inside information. Refreshments will be provided.

Political science professors Herbert Gooch, Gregory Freeland, Jose Marichal and Frederick Gordon will dissect the election results at the presidential, congressional, state and local levels. They will also address the significance and likely consequences of the results.

The evocative music of the Celtic/Early Music Crossover group Ensemble Galilei presents the perfect backdrop for works by some of the finest poets in America.

An evening of entertainment and dining with silent and oral auctions. Proceeds go to faculty grants to enhance academic programs at CLU.
Criminal Justice and Legal Studies
The Panel will provide information on: researching career paths, internships, the hiring process, background processes, first assignments and a job description. Career Services will provide information regarding: What you can do with a criminal justice major, Resume and Cover Letter Samples, Career Topics, Website and Resources, Internships, Workshops, Pre-Law, and Proactive Job Searches.

Neuroscience and Religious Belief
Andrew B. Newberg, M.D., will discuss "Why God Won't Go Away" at 10 a.m. and "Why We Believe What We Believe" at 4 p.m.
Tutor elementary English learners
First United Methodist Church of Thousand Oaks
Be a mentor for the afternoon (3:30-5:30). Tutor 1st-3rd graders and help them learn about the military. Activities will include crafts, games, and more!
