Marcee Yager

Marcee Yager, the president of Financial Vision LLC, is a nationally recognized pioneer in the area of integral finance, often called "life planning". Her passion is enabling people recognize the influences that affect their approach to money issues. Marcee has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Reader's Digest, and many other publications on a broad range of financial planning topics. In the financial services field since 1983, she has an extensive background in finance, strategic planning, and coaching. She was the original "Ask the Expert" for financial planning on the Quicken website. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association as well as the CFA Society of San Francisco. She has served on the Chapter Leadership Resource Council of the FPA and is a past president and chairwoman of the Silicon Valley Society of Certified Financial Planners, the predecessor organization to the FPA. Marcee has served as a founding member of several nonprofit organizations and is active in the arts. She is co-author of The Feisty Woman's Guide to Estate Planning and The Feisty Woman's Guide to Money, both published by the Women's Caucus for Art.

Marcee received her CFP (R) designation in 1988. She started her first financial planning firm, Alderwood Consulting Group, in 1989. From 1999 through 2002 she was the managing partner of a mid-sized planning firm, Sterling Wood Financial. In 2003 she started her third firm, Financial Vision LLC. Marcee attended the University of California, Davis, where she studied liberal arts.
