Student Testing Schedule

January

  • Residential Students are required to participate in COVID-19 saliva testing upon arrival to campus. ID card access for residence halls will be activated once a student completes their test.
  • Commuter Students are required to obtain a free COVID-19 test at a Ventura County testing site (see below) within 10 days prior to their first on-campus class. Commuter students must submit their test results online prior to arriving on campus. The test results will be submitted through a “pop up” in MyCLU. If you have any questions, please email provost@callutheran.edu.

February

  • Residential Students will be asked to voluntarily obtain a free COVID-19 test at a Ventura County testing site (see below) and submit their test results for an incentive. Students can test any time between February 15 and 26 and must submit their results by March 3.
  • Commuter Students are required to obtain a free COVID-19 test at a Ventura County testing site (see below) within 10 days prior to their first on-campus class. Commuter students must submit their test results online prior to arriving on campus. The test results will be submitted through a “pop up” in MyCLU. If you have any questions, please email provost@callutheran.edu.

March

  • Residential Students are required to participate in COVID-19 saliva testing on campus during the week of March 22. Students will be assigned a testing date/time.
  • Commuter Students are required to obtain a free COVID-19 test through Ventura County (see below) between March 19 and 28 and submit the results through a “pop up” in MyCLU. If you have any questions, please email provost@callutheran.edu.

April

  • Residential and Commuter Students will be asked to voluntarily obtain a free COVID-19 test at a Ventura County testing site (see below) and submit their test results for an incentive. Students can test any time between April 12 and 23 and must submit their results by April 28.

Student-Athlete and Coach Testing Schedule

Student-athletes living off campus must provide documentation of a negative COVID-19 test prior to their arrival on campus, and those living on campus will be tested when they arrive. We have scheduled continued surveillance testing for student-athletes and coaches based on the risk levels of transmission in accordance with CDC and NCAA guidelines. The table below outlines the schedule.

Ongoing testing begins February 9 for teams in the low-risk category, February 1 for the intermediate category, and February 3 for the high-risk category. For more information on spring athletics, visit the KNOW Athletics page.
