Daily Health Check System

Dear Cal Lutheran Community,

For those who have been given permission to be on university property, we have launched an electronic Daily Health Check system for the process that must be completed before coming onsite.

Students, faculty and staff can complete the questionnaire in the MyCLU portal on our website or in the MyCLU mobile app, which can be found in the Apple App or Google Play stores by searching for MyCLU. Approved visitors can complete the form on our KNOW site.

  • MyCLU portal: In the column on the left side of the page, click on Health Check.
  • MyCLU app: Click on the green KNOW Check-in icon. Click on Daily Health Check.
  • Online visitors form: On the Visitor Policy page of our KNOW site, click on the Visitor Health Check Form button under the Pre-Arrival Check heading.

After you complete the questionnaire, you will receive an email with either a green check mark or a red X, and a daily badge will be posted in the MyCLU portal and MyCLU app.

After residential students move in this week, they should complete the electronic Daily Health Check each day. Starting Monday, Aug. 31, if residential students don’t complete the Daily Health Check by 10 a.m., they will lose card access to their residence halls until they do. Residential students who have symptoms should contact Health Services at covid19reporting@callutheran.edu or 805-493-3225.

Faculty, staff and commuter students who have been approved to be onsite this week should continue to complete the health screening at the tented station in the Administration Parking Lot through Friday.

Beginning Monday, Aug. 31, everyone coming onsite, including approved visitors, must use the electronic Daily Health Check. Starting on that day, all faculty, staff and commuter students will receive an email stating their card access to buildings has been revoked if they do not complete the Daily Health Check by 10 a.m. If you have been given permission and are planning to come onsite, you can restore your card access to approved buildings on the day you return by completing the Daily Health Check. If you have been given permission but are not planning to come onsite immediately, you do not need to complete the Daily Health Check until the day you return.

Faculty and staff who have COVID-19 symptoms must stay home and report the symptoms to Health Services at covid19reporting@callutheran.edu and their supervisor.

If you have questions about the electronic Daily Health Check, contact the Help Desk at helpdesk@callutheran.edu or 805-493-3698. For questions about building access, residential students should contact Residence Life at reslife@callutheran.edu or 805-493-3220 and commuter students and employees should contact Campus Safety at campussafety@callutheran.edu or 805-493-3208.

Thank you for all you are doing to protect the health of our community.
