Cal Lutheran Cares Day 2022 Success
Cal Lutheran Cares Day is the university’s annual day of fundraising. The final results represent an increase of 80% in the total number of gifts over the previous year and a 10% increase in the amount that was given. A great thanks goes to all those who have given generously to the four funds (Greatest Need, School of Management Building. Graduate Student Diversity Fund, and Student Competitions) - donors include students, alumni, faculty, staff, advisory council members and community members - but also to Susan Wood as well as the team in University Advancement without whose support wouldn't have attracted more than $63,000 in donations to the School of Management. The San Fernando Valley Business Journal wrote an article about the event, which can be read here. Particular thanks goes to alumnus Jeff Brouelette and Herbalife (represented through Dean's Executive Council member Kim Congdon, CHRO), who provided two generous $10,000 matching gifts.
