Welcome to the Office of Congregational Relations!
Our mission is to sustain and extend the University's multiple relationships with congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. It is our work to serve as the primary liaison between ELCA congregations in Regions 1 and 2 and Cal Lutheran.
We help advance relations and communication on behalf of Cal Lutheran and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary. We work at building partnerships and relationships with local ecumenical partner congregations, temples, mosques, and multi-faith centers of worship.
We offer resources to pastors, church and faith leaders, lay leaders (volunteers) and student-oriented leadership. It is our goal for the university to see the Church and faith communities as a partner and for the Church and faith communities to see Cal Lutheran as an asset and partner to them.
