As many of you may have heard, the Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) will be protesting outside of Thousand Oaks High School on Monday morning from 6:30-7:00am.  WBC is recognized as a hate group and shares vile messages of divine judgment and condemnation. 

We absolutely reject Westboro Baptist’s hate-filled rhetoric and homophobia.  

In order to focus on our love for all the people who will feel hurt and distressed by the attacks of the WBC, Student Life invites you to attend the "You Are Welcome Here" event on Monday, Feb. 11th at the Flag Pole between 11:00am-1:00pm.

We also encourage everyone to wear a social justice tee of your choice in support of inclusion on this day.
