GPSC Wants You to Apply!

GPSC is looking for a Marketer, Treasurer, and Secretary for the 2019-2020 academic year! Students serving in these roles gain valuable leadership experience, become more involved at CLU, as well as receive a $500 stipend. Those students who are interested should email a one-page personal statement to jfaucher@callutheran.edu by May 31^st.

Below is a list of the duties for each position:

Marketer: 

The Marketer shall advertise and market any GPSC meetings, events, or activities on the GSPC website and social media pages. The Marketer shall ensure that all GPSC happenings are widely advertised across all four campus locations. 

Treasurer:

The Treasurer shall work closely with the GPSC Advisor on matters relating to the GPSC budget and allocation of funds. The Treasurer will assist in creating an annual budget plan for GPSC depending on the annual funding received for the current academic year, in addition to providing financial reports and budget updates to GPSC at designated monthly meetings.

Secretary:

The Secretary will take minutes during all designated GPSC meetings; in addition, the Secretary will compile and distribute minutes from the previous month’s GPSC meeting and send out meeting reminders to the Council. Per the request of the Chair, the Secretary may be asked to assist in drafting agendas and Chair standing committees of GPSC.
