Transfer Registration Meetings

Transfer students who would like to register for classes or request adjustments to their class schedule for the spring semester should plan to drop by Academic Services during this time.

International Student Orientation

International students are required to attend a separate session provided by the International Student Services offices. Students who attend this session will review critical information for international students studying in the United States. Orientation Check-In

All students will check-in to Spring Orientation during this timeframe. At check-in, you will receive your Orientation bag and name tag.

Opening Brunch will be provided to all incoming students at Spring Orientation. Food provided by Sodexo catering.

This session will feature a short welcome message from the Associate Director of Student Life.

Introduction to Academics

This session will feature a short talk by the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Dr. Jessica Lavariega Monforti.

First Year Students Meet Mentor Team

First year students will meet with their assigned Peer Advisor and Faculty Advisor who co-teach their Freshman Seminar course during the spring semester.

Resource Fair

Students will be given the opportunity to visit various offices and learn about different campus resources available to them at the Resource Fair.

Students will mix and mingle over s'mores during the afternoon social.

Title IX Presentation

This session discusses sexual misconduct and the University's effort to provide a safe and secure learning environment for all.

This session reviews the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), which states who has the right to inspect your education records and provides that colleges and universities will maintain the confidentiality of those records.

Hike to the CLU Rocks

Join us on a "challenge by choice" hike up to the CLU Rocks. This is a long-standing tradition for incoming students at Orientation and will be the first time this is offered during Spring Orientation. Participants will be provided with a fun giveaway. Bring a waterbottle and wear appropriate clothing/shoes. We hope you can join us!

If you did not get the opportunity to visit Academic Services, the Bookstore, Financial Aid or Student Accounts, now is your chance! Students should use this time to take care of any last minute preparations for classes on Wednesday.

Dinner and a Movie

Join returning students in the Student Union for pizza and a movie! We will be showing "Life of the Party". First 50 students will receive a free Student Life mini-picnic blanket!
