Fulfilling Our Promise: Service to the World,The Rev. Richard A. Nelson
Founders Day is a festive event that gives thanks for CLU’s heritage and accents its primary mission of educating leaders for a global society. Keynote speaker is the Rev. Richard A. Nelson ’75, senior pastor of Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis and chair of the board of directors of Lutheran World Relief.
The University Symphony will perform works by Handel, Grieg and Picker.

CLU art instructor Barry Burns’ one-man show includes 18 recent abstract paintings, which use extreme texture on sculpted surfaces.
