Mount Clef Hall
Named in concurrence with the hill where the "CLU" rocks are displayed, Mt. Clef Hall opened in 1962. Mt. Clef was home to only male students until 1977. The hall has housed students for most of the Cal Lutheran's existence. In 1994 the hall became the home to KCLU, Cal Lutherans NPR/Jazz Radio Station and also housed the Residence Life Office from 1996-1999. Mt. Clef has 84 student rooms and also features "The Plounge." When the main lounge was renovated in the summer of 1988 with plum-colored decor, students took no time at all in naming it the "Plounge".
