D.C. Policy Institute

In August 2023, students from MPPA and MBA programs visited the nation's capital to understand the workings of various institutions - government, nonprofits and the  private sector. The course learning outcomes were to help students learn how governmental and non-governmental institutions shape and implement policy and the complexities of working in D.C. There was also a strong career focus to the trip.  

Over four days, students visited with and interacted with representatives from the US Congress, US Navy, Sage Publishing, Clearpath (an energy focused research and advocacy org.), John Quincy Adams Society, Austrian Embassy, Rumi Forum, Marshall Heights Community Development Organization, among others.
