Submission Guidelines

Submit your original art, multimedia creations, writing, and music to the Morning Glory at by the deadline.

We are accepting submissions of any art form: poetry, prose (including short fiction and creative nonfiction, dramatic scenes, essays, etc) paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography, short video and audio projects (including music, dance, spoken word poetry, podcast snippets, etc). Students, faculty, staff, and alumni of CLU may submit.

Submission Window: Monday, February 7th - Thursday, March 24th.

This year's Morning Glory will be fully virtual, and students from all majors are encouraged to send in submissions. The theme for this issue is connections: to each other, to the things around us, to the natural world. Whatever it means to you to be connected, write about it! Work on subjects outside of this theme is also accepted. Prose, poetry, art, photography, audio, and video submissions are all welcome.

Morning Glory submissions will be reviewed, collected, and assembled into this year's edition by the 2021-2022 English department assistants. As always, submissions from all religions, backgrounds, and viewpoints are welcome and encouraged!

Contact or department chair with any questions!
