Deviations from Approved Pattern
Chairs may appeal to the Academic Scheduling Committee for permission to deviate from the standard time patterns.
Consideration is on a case-by-case basis, if:
- A compelling case can be made as to why the approved patterns will not meet the requirements of the course; and
- A classroom space is available after the Registrar has assigned classrooms to courses that meet during standard times.
Requests need to be submitted via the Meeting Pattern Deviation Request form and should be sent to: academicschedulingcommittee@CalLutheran.edu
The request will be reviewed by the Academic Scheduling Committee which is composed of personnel in the Registrar's office, the Center for Student Success, the College of Arts & Sciences Dean's office, and the School of Management Dean's office.
Note: Requests to deviate from standard meeting times will need to be resubmitted and reviewed each semester.
