About this event

This special session is co-convened by the Center for Nonprofit Leadership, the Nonprofit Resource Network (NPRN), the Ventura County Community Foundation, the Santa Barbara Foundation, the Fund for Santa Barbara & Visionality.

Keeping up with the changing wage and hour laws in California just got harder. One of the most common pitfalls for California employers is not knowing when and how to pay employees when they are at work and, now, when they are not at work.

HR professionals can help their organizations reduce their chances of being hit with burdensome and costly wage and hour lawsuits after this crisis is over by maintaining the basic rules relating to the employer's payment obligations and implementing proactive strategies to comply with these laws.

We know you have questions and Jonathan Fraser Light is here to answer them. If you have a question that you need answering, submit it as part of your registration for the opportunity to have it answered. Please note, this virtual Q&A session will not function as legal advice and Jon may revise your question to make it applicable to a broader audience as necessary.

In this informative session, you’ll obtain valuable information that will help keep you in compliance and your organizations protected.

The webinar is free to attend, but registration is required.
