Eligibility Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen (or permanent resident).
  • Enrolled (or enrolling) as full time student of accredited college/university within the U.S., for completion of undergraduate degree in Marketing, Journalism, or equivalent field.
  • Limit of one (1) entry per contestant.
  • Employees and professional affiliates of HigherVisibility (and their immediate families) are not eligible.

  • Be sure to attach the following documents to your application form:
    • Copy of your most recent transcripts.
    • Some verification of enrollment at your college.

Scholarship Award:

  • Total award – $3,000; Number of awards given – 3.

  • Award amount will be made out to your school in the form of a check, and mailed to your personal address.

Eligibility:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college in the US or are planning to matriculate in the fall of 2015.
  • Must be in good academic standing if currently enrolled in college or high school.
  • If an applicant is under 18, the permission of a parent or guardian.
  • Applicant must be a female.

Sep. 1 - Karman Healthcare Mobility Scholarship

Amount: 2 $500 scholarships

Eligibility: Open to all college and university students with a mobility disability who use a wheelchair, or other mobility devices on a regular basis. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Sep. 1 - Single Parent Scholarships For Moms & Dads
Deadline: Tuesday, Sep 1, 2015

Criteria to apply for our Single Parent Scholarships are as follows:

  1. You must be a single parent helping to raise at least one child. You do not have to have full-time custody but must be involved in raising the child.
  2. You must be currently enrolled in a U.S. high school, trade school, apprentice school, junior college, college, university, or graduate school in the United States.
  3. You must have a GPA of 2.7 or higher and are required to submit a copy of your transcript indicating your grade point average (GPA).  You may submit an unofficial school transcript.
Sep. 2 - eLearners Military Scholarship
Deadline: Wednesday, Sep 2, 2015

Amount: $1,000

Eligibility: This scholarship is open to Veterans, Active Duty Servicemembers or Spouses of Servicemembers or Veterans. Winners can use this one-time payment for whatever they choose.

Sep. 7 - Charles Moo Scholarship
Deadline: Monday, Sep 7, 2015

Amount: $500

Eligibility: 

  • We require proof of enrollment;
  • We require government identification to verify that you are at least 18 years of age. This is necessary to ensure that the winner is legally able to share publishing rights for his or her submission.

How to apply: Write 450-700 words for the prompt, "Provide three ideas on how new businesses can use social media to increase revenue." This scholarship is open to students of Asian descent who are pursuing higher education in America.

Sep. 7 - Jones T-Shirts Scholarship
Deadline: Monday, Sep 7, 2015

Amount: $1,000

Eligibility: Any student who will be enrolled in a college or University at the time of the next deadline. This scholarship is limited to students attending school in the 50 U.S. states.

How to apply: Write a 500 to 1000 word essay outlining at least 3 steps that you plan to take in the next year to start a path towards having a career that you love.

Sep. 15 - #FortOnFleek Challenge Scholarship
Deadline: Tuesday, Sep 15, 2015

Award Amount: $1,000

Requirements:

  • Minimum GPA: 2.5
  • Residency:United States or International Student studying in the United States with a VISA.

Eligibility: To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) Be Enrolled in full-time studies at a college, trades, or technical school by no later than September 2015.

B) Be currently residing in the United States and intend on continuing studies in the United States.

Eligibility: Open to all students enrolled in accredited academic institutions, and high school seniors who are enrolling upon graduation. Students of all majors and intended majors are welcome to participate. Applicants must be residents of the United states. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. Awards will be sent directly to the financial aid office of the institution of the finalist’s enrollment.

How to apply: Please submit a 500-1000 word essay about the most interesting item you have ever received in the mail. This can be a letter or postcard, a package or gift, an advertisement, or any other parcel delivered by mail. Explain why this article of mail was so fascinating to you and how it has impacted your life.

Sep. 24 - Smart Shopper Scholarship

  • Applicant must be a U.S resident and currently enrolled in a university within the 50 states or the District of Columbia.

Eligibility: US citizens 16 years of age and older who are either in their senior year of high school or currently enrolled in an accredited institute of higher learning are eligible to apply. Scholarship awards will be sent directly to the institution the student is enrolled in.

How to apply: Please write a 500-1500 word essay for the following prompt: "The most important local county office to me is..."

Eligibility: To be considered eligible for the Odenza Marketing Scholarship you must:
A) Be between the ages of 16 and 25 on September 30th, 2015
B) Submit answers to the essay questions, which can be found on the application page, prior to the September 30th, 2015 deadline.
C) Have at least one full year of post secondary studies remaining at the time of the award. (Current High School Students are also eligible.)

Eligibility: Open to a paralegal student who is pursing a career in the paralegal field. In addition, must be:

  • A current college student enrolled at an accredited college or university who is pursuing a paralegal related degree or a high school student who has been accepted to a college and plans to pursue a paralegal degree program

Oct. 1 - Commercial Video Scholarship
Deadline: Thursday, Oct 1, 2015

Amount: $5,000

Eligibility: Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident of the United States and may not be an associate (employee) or relative of cheapautoinsuranceco.com. Applicant must be a current student and have a cumulative high school grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4-point scale. Applicant must also be a high school or home school senior graduating or earning a GED between August 1 and November 30, who will enroll for Spring Semester as a freshman at an accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university. to ease the financial burden of childcare for a parent in school.  Applicants can be either married or single.  The award is made in 

two payments of $500.00 upon written verification of continuing childcare enrollment and current school transcripts. 

AWARD $500.00- THE SINGERMAN / NOSSECK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

To qualify, a candidate must be enrolling or enrolled in a trade school (online course ok) that leads to certification (i.e. massage 

 therapy, dental assistant), in order to learn a marketable skill; which will lead to economic self-sufficiency.  The scholarship is 

 intended to ease the burden of the applicant starting or continuing their education, and is not limited to a particular field of study. 

AWARD $2,000.00 - THE JUNE MILLER NURSING EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP

This award is given to a woman or man committed to and qualified for entering or continuing the academic pursuit of a career in nursing.   

Recipients of the June Miller Award may also be eligible for the Inger Lawrence-M.R. Bauer Foundation Nursing Studies Scholarship. 

AWARD $2,000.00 – INGER LAWRENCE-M.R. BAUER FOUNDATION NURSING STUDIES SCHOLARSHIP

This award is given to a woman or man committed to, and qualified for, continuing the academic pursuit of a degree in nursing. 

Some units toward a nursing degree are preferred, but not required. Recipients of the Inger Lawrence-M.R. Bauer award  

may also be eligible for the June Miller Nursing Education Scholarship. 

AWARD $1,000.00 – SAMUEL SCHULMAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

To qualify, an applicant must be a single mother entering or continuing school in an accredited institution in order to learn a 

marketable skill, which will lead to economic independence. The award is made in two payments of $500.00.  The second 

payment will be received after written confirmation of status and current school transcripts from the recipient. 

AWARD $1,000.00 – THE SOL GOLDBERG CHILDCARE SUBSIDY

To qualify an applicant must be entering or continuing school in an accredited institution in order to learn a marketable skill, 

which will lead to economic self-sufficiency.  The award is not restricted to any field or academic program as the award is 

intended to ease the financial burden of childcare for a parent in school.

Nov. 1 - Noah's Event Scholarship

  • Write a 600 word essay on a topic specified on the webpage
  • Along with your essay, please include the name of your current school or university as well as your academic major or area of study.

  • Must be a current undergraduate majoring in dance, theater, music, performing arts or related field.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0

How to apply: Applicants must submit a video showcasing their talents in the performing arts. Videos must be no longer than 2 minutes. Professional videos are not required, but videos should have clear audio and visuals of the performance. Videos longer than 2 minutes will not be eligible. Videos should be included as a 3rd party link (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) and video files should not be emailed directly as attachments.

Applicants must also submit a 200-500 word essay on one of the following topics:

Eligibility: Students who are currently enrolled in a pre-medical college curriculum or a post-baccalaureate pre-medical program are encouraged to submit their video application.

How to apply: The winner of the Thomas L. Dickson scholarship contest will be chosen by our attorneys based on participation in a video essay contest.
