Description: In our continued quest for legal education to produce thoughtful lawyers who will uphold our Constitution and Bill of Rights, we are offering the opportunity for law students attending an accredited law school to qualify for the Nadrich & Cohen, LLP Civil Justice Scholarship. This is an award to be given to a full-time law student attending a U.S. Law School for the 2015-2016 academic year.  The student is to have a commitment to the civil justice system. The scholarship consists of $1,000, payable through the educational institution on behalf of the student.

Eligibility:

  • Any current, full-time student of an accredited American university or college, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is eligible. There is no age requirement.

The Avonte Oquendo Memorial Scholarship is open to high-achieving students who meet two key criteria:

  1. Either you or a close family member has been diagnosed with a form of autism (including Asperger syndrome), and

Eligibility: In order to qualify, students must:

  • be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • have completed at least 15 hours of undergraduate course work towards their degree
  • submit an online application with an essay and transcript.

How to apply: The essay should range from 400-600 words, and explain why you wish to pursue a career in biology, medicine, biomedical engineering or drug research.

For non-medical related degrees who still wish to apply, explain how the injury of a family member from a drug side effect has affected your educational goals.

  • High school seniors that are enrolled in an accredited college, either for a dual credit program or for the upcoming semester, are eligible to enter as well.

  • You must either be enrolled for the spring 2015 or registered for the fall 2015 semester. Being enrolled in summer classes does not make you eligible to enter.

All applicants must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of atleast 3.0 and be a legal resident of the USA or hold a valid student visa.

How to apply: To apply, a student must submit an essay describing one of the various communication topics we have to choose from. All submissions must be submitted by August 1, 2015 and the winner will be awarded on August 15, 2015. Along with the scholarship the winner will also have their article published on the Branded Bridge Line blog.

Aug. 1 - COIT Cleaning Checklist Design Scholarship

Eligibility: You must be enrolled in either an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university in the USA or Canada. International students are welcome!

How to apply: This graphic design-centric scholarship asks you to create a cleaning checklist that would be useful to someone moving out of a dorm or apartment.  You might include tips for cleaning or repairs, as well as checklist items aimed at helping students keep their security deposits.  The checklist should be easy to read and visually appealing, so that a student might actually use it to check things off.  The length and shape of the checklist is up to you, but remember that the goal is to make it appealing and useful.

How to apply: Write a 500-word essay on the following topic:  What are the advantages of being treated in a high-tech dental office?

The Purpose: We’ve all had a time in our lives when we’ve needed a little guidance. We want to know who has helped you see or has led you down the right path. Whether it’s a teacher, family member, or friend. We want to hear about it and shine some light on the person who has been influential to you. We will choose a winner to receive a $500 tuition scholarship once a year.


 

Eligibility: Any legal U.S. resident who is 18 years or older and is attending or will attend an accredited college or university.

 

How to apply: Write and submit a short essay explaining who in your life has influenced you and sent you down the right path. Entries should be 500 to 1000 words in length. We will announce a winner on Facebook and Twitter and email the winner directly.

How to apply: The winning applicant will provide the best 200-300 word essay on how entrepreneurship can bring awareness and action to social issues.

Eligibility:
