Faculty Highlight: Veronica Guerrero
Veronica Guerrero is a full-time, tenured faculty member of Management and Marketing within the School of Management at California Lutheran University. Dr. Guerrero has been at Cal Lutheran for more than 10 years, and is currently serving as Department Chair for Marketing & Management. Additionally, she served as MBA Program Director for three years and continues to teach in both Graduate and Undergraduate programs. Veronica earned her doctorate from Pepperdine University in Organizational Leadership. Her research interests include women and leadership and entrepreneurial education.
More specifically, she has studied how to best support women business owners in their business endeavors through entrepreneurial education in the areas of negotiation and leadership development. Veronica has more than 20 years of Marketing Communications experience in the technology, non-profit and education industries. She has developed and implemented marketing programs and campaigns in support of strategic partnerships between both small and large organizations. As a Marketing Director for KPMG Consulting, Veronica was responsible for strategic marketing initiatives with more than 40 external alliance organizations including Oracle, SAP, Microsoft and Cisco Systems. She has served on the Board of the Funeral Consumers Alliance of Southern California and Women Economic Ventures. She continues to do consulting work for organizations in the area of Marketing Communications and Organizational Leadership.
