New Faculty Feature
Please join us in welcoming our new faculty members, Patrick Manning (Undergraduate Accounting), Sabith Khan (Master of Public Policy and Administration), and Christopher Njunge, who is joining the team at the Bachelor’s Degree for Professionals program as a visiting professor.
Sabith Khan
Sabith Khan received his Ph.D. in planning, governance and globalization from Virginia Tech’s School of Public and International Affairs. His dissertation examined the changing discourses of philanthropy among American Muslim NGOs. At Virginia Tech, Khan taught courses including Governance and Public Policy in the U.S., Public Issues in an Urban Society, and Interest Groups. Most recently, he served as a visiting researcher at the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies at Georgetown University. Khan joins the Master of Public Policy and Administration program as an Assistant Professor.
Patrick Manning
Patrick Manning, CPA, CGMA, MBA, brings 34 years of professional financial and accounting experience to the classroom, with a background in both public and private industry accounting. As an adjunct faculty member at Cal Lutheran, he taught classes including Principles of Accounting, Managerial Accounting and Cost Accounting. He currently is a Partner in B2B CFO, a national CFO consulting firm providing services to privately held businesses. He now joins us as a lecturer in the undergraduate Accounting program.
Christopher Njunge
As an adjunct faculty member at Cal Lutheran since 2015, Chris Njunge has taught in the MBA, Master of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor’s Degree for Professionals and traditional undergraduate programs. He has taught business and information technology courses including Information Security Management, Emergent Technology and Issues, and International Business Behavior. Chris Njunge will teach and mentor students in the MSIT, traditional undergraduate, and Bachelors Degree for Professionals programs.
