  • Traditional Undergraduate registration appointments for Fall 17 will be from Mar. 27-Apr. 3. Student registration appointments are from 5:00 pm-8:30 pm each weekday evening. The Fall 17 class schedule was made available in WebAdvisor and Student Planning on Friday. Advisor registration approvals for Spring have been cleared.

  • Save the Date - Provost's Reception for Faculty Authors and Grant Recipients,Tues., Apr. 25, 5pm, Rolland Art Gallery. Have you published a book or illustrated a work during the past year that will be published by Apr. 3, 2017? Please let us know by Thurs., Apr. 6 so that we can recognize you at the Provost’s Reception during Festival of Scholars. Email Kelly Owens at KOwens@CalLutheran.edu with a brief synopsis of your published book or illustrated work and the date of publication. If you have a photo file of your book cover, please forward that as well.  Thank you.
     
  • Festival of Scholars: The abstract submission window for the 2017 Festival of Scholars will run March 1-March 24.   • Scandinavian Festival, Sat., Apr. 1 - Sun., Apr. 2, 10am - 5pm, Kingsmen Park. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for teenagers, children are free.
     
  • CLU’s 6th annual Relay for Life is Sat., Apr. 1, 3pm to midnight in the Gilbert Sport and Fitness Center.  You can contribute in many different ways:
    • Join a team and participate in the relay by walking laps, helping at the team’s table or helping to make other tables a success (each table has an activity).  It’s fun for kids as well!
    • Contribute to the team by making a donation.
    • Dedicate a luminaria to honor someone who has experienced cancer.
    • Encourage your colleagues and friends to support the event as well.
    • Join or contribute to one or both of the two teams that specifically welcomefaculty and staff:
  • Deadline for faculty to order regalia for Commencement - Apr. 1. Contact the bookstore at x3270.
     
  • Arete Vocal Ensemble Concert, Sun., Apr. 2, 2pm, Samuelson Chapel. Wyant Morton conducts. Tickets are $20 at the door or $15 if purchased online in advance. Children under 12 are free. For information and to purchase tickets, visitwww.aretevocalensemble.org.
     
  • Honors Convocation, Tues., Apr. 25, 11:15am, Samuelson Chapel.  Note: We will be on Convocation Schedule with classes ending at 11:00am and resuming at12:40pm. Regalia will NOT be worn and faculty will not be processing. Faculty will have reserved seating on the right side of the Chapel. Please arrive early, as reserved seats will be released 5 minutes before the Convocation begins.
