Spotlight

 

  • Honors Convocation, Tues., Apr. 24, 11:15am, Samuelson Chapel.  Note: We will be on Convocation Schedule with classes ending at 11:00am and resuming at12:40pm. Outstanding Young Alumni Award Recipient, Christopher Kajtor '07, MPPA '10, will give the keynote address, faculty receiving promotion and/or tenure in Fall 2018 will be recognized, and the President's Award for Teaching Excellence recipient will be announced. Regalia will NOT be worn and faculty will not be processing. Faculty will have reserved seating on the right side of the Chapel. Please arrive early, as reserved seats will be released 5 minutes before the Convocation begins.

  • Gumby Givesday, Wed., Apr. 4, Luther Statue. A 24 hour day of giving to support student scholarships.
     
  • Have you published a book or illustrated a work during the past year that will be published by April 2, 2018? Please let us know by Thurs., Apr. 5 so that we can recognize you at the Provost’s Reception for faculty authors and grant recipients, which will be held Tues., Apr. 24, at 5 pm in the William Rolland Gallery of Fine Art. Please email Roni Hooper at RHooper@CalLutheran.edu with a brief synopsis of your published book or illustrated work and the date of publication. If you have a photo file of your book cover, please forward that as well.  Thank you.
     
  • CalLuPalooza, Fri., Apr. 6, 6pm, Kingsmen Park. This annual concert in the park showcases the talent and creativity of students in the music production program. Everyone is welcome. Admission is free.
