Usage - Clear Space
Using the identity consistently will build equity in the spirit brand. The protected area around the logotype ensures that no other graphic elements interfere with its clarity and integrity.
The size of the protected area is equivalent to the width of the spirit mark "C".
NOTE: The sword element should always be paired with the shield and crown and never used as a separate or secondary element.
When using the crown alone or paired with a wordmark, use the height of the crown's outer edge to determine the clear space.
For our wordmarks, and if any spirit mark is paired with a wordmark, use clear space equal to the width of the "C" in the Cal Lutheran wordmark.
