Undergraduate Programs

Boren Awards

The program focuses on languages, countries, and fields of study considered critical to national security.


The scholarship provides a paid opportunity to study a high-needs language over the summer. 


The fellowship provides opportunities to write policy papers, memorandum, and op-ed.


Undergraduate Internships


 The program provides opportunities to intern with federal agencies and corporations. 


 The program provides opportunities to intern with U.N. offices or agencies. 

U.S. Dept of State

The program provides opportunities to intern with federal government offices and agencies.


Careers & Fellowships

Fulbright U.S. Program

Herbert Scoville Jr Peace Fellowship

Participants will be based in Washington, D.C. and work full time for 6 to 9 months at a participating organization.

OECD Young Associates Program

Participants have the opportunity to gain professional experience in multilateral policymaking, research, and analysis. 


The scholarship provides full financial support for a degree or degrees at the University of Oxford in U.K.


The program provides graduate fellowships to college seniors and graduates  who are committed to joining the Foreign Service.


The U.N. Young Professioanls Programme consists of an entrance examination and professional development.


Mountbatten Program

Kickstart your global career by living, interning, and studying in London.


The White House Fellowships offer first-hand experience working full time for a year in the U.S. government.

Consular Fellows Program

Fellows work in a U.S. embassy or consulate overseas, primarily interviewing visa applicants and processing their applications. 



JET Program

Particiapnts teach English in public schools in Japan.


Participants work as teaching assistants in Spain for elementary or secondary schools.


Participants teach English in public schools in France or in French-speaking locations. 

EPIK Teach in Korea

Participants teach English in various schools in South Korea.






Volunteer opportunities range from clearing trails in national parks, to fighting poverty, to mentoring children and teens.

Lutheran Volunteer Corps

Volunteer work focuses on social justice nationally.


Volunteers work with local communities on variety of social and economic issues.


Volunteers can be assigned to diverse regions in the world.
