Transportation to campus on the day of the event is the responsibility of the student.
We cannot accommodate students on campus; however, there are a number of hotels in the Thousand Oaks area that offer discounts if you mention you are visiting Cal Lutheran when booking a room. For more information, please visit the Hotels & Accommodations page.
The day begins at 9:00 a.m. with check-in and runs through 12:00 p.m., followed by an optional lunch in the Ullman Dining Commons.
Professional attire is most appropriate for this program (slacks, dress shirts, skirts, etc.).
While on campus, students will have one interview for the Transfer Achievement Scholarship. The Transfer Achievement Scholarships range up to full tuition. Each interview will be with a member of our faculty or an administrator, and will last approximately 30 minutes. The interview is an effort to get to know each student better. The interviewers will not be asking questions designed to mislead or confuse students. Questions are likely to be revolved around activities and interests; books, journals, or articles read outside of the classroom; current events happening in the world today; and an inspirational person.
