Shawn and I were neighbors our Freshman year. We started dating pretty early in the school year. We continued to date all through college and in the summer of 2002 Shawn moved to Washington DC for a job he was offered through an internship he did. We weren’t sure what the distance would do to our relationship but when I flew out to see him after a few months; I knew he was it. We got engaged In January 2003 and were married in April of 2004. After we got married I moved to DC where we lived for 2 years before moving San Diego where we have been ever since. We have 3 amazing kids, Oliver is 9, Jackson 6 and Kennedy 2. Cal Lu will always have a special place in my heart because in room Peterson 231 is where I found my forever person.
