Norman Lueck

Honorary Alumni

Many alumni know Norman who, from 1982-1987, served as Vice President for Development and Capital Programs at CLU.  During this time, he oversaw the renovation of the administration buildings, the old library and the Service Center as well as the construction of Pearson Library, Preus-Brandt Forum, Ahmanson Science Center and Samuelson Chapel.  During his tenure, the CLU endowment grew from several hundred thousand dollars to a multimillion-dollar fund.  Norm has served as president of the Community Leaders Club and received the club’s William E. Hamm Outstanding Service Award in 1995.  In addition to his volunteer work at CLU, Norm is involved with the Conejo Future Foundation, the Wellness Community, the Conejo Valley YMCA, the Ventura County Economic Development Association, Newbury Park Rotary and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.  Norm is “highly honored” to receive the Honorary Alumnus Award.
