Basketball has brought me the greatest joy! From the environment, life lessons, meeting new people, and creating relationships with coaches, basketball has always been the escape from reality. Being on the Cal Lutheran Women’s Basketball team has brought me happiness and joy. The best part about it is my teammates and coaches. They have made the transition of my freshman year easy and pushed out of my comfort zone. Mostly, they are my family away from home and I am glad that I get this opportunity that other people in the world do not get.
