My relationship with CLU is twofold. I was a student and received my Masters in Counseling and Guidance and then I became a member of the administration as the Director of Financial Aid.
When I was a student, I found the faculty and other students to be phenomenal! The experience went beyond the content of the curriculum. It was a place of enlightenment and inspiration! Faculty reaching out to students and students helping students.
When I became part of the administration, I couldn’t believe what a great environment it was to help me meet the goals I had for helping students in need of financial assistance. It was in such contrast to the experience I had at a former school. Sometimes I had to pinch myself to remind me I was really here in this remarkable place. Was it always perfect? Of course not, but when you have people who believe in what they’re doing, it’s a wonderful place to be.
