Bachelor’s Degree for Professionals

Connecting with students on a personal level is my favorite part of teaching in the Bachelor’s Degree For Professionals Program. Each term we bond as a group, and I am honored when former students contact me to ask advice or share successes. Some have written to share something they learned that was very beneficial in their career. Others have called to discuss a work situation or ask for help preparing for an upcoming interview. And many times, when I’m out and about, I meet former students and it’s always an inspiration to see how well they are doing. Students in the Professional’s Program are hard working adults who dedicate their evenings to completing their bachelor’s degree. Each individual has valuable work experiences to share, and we incorporate those into our discussions and use them to enhance current and future job satisfaction. My high regard for my colleagues and the administrators of the Professional’s Program makes me proud to be a part of this team. Knowing that we set a high standard for success, and continually fine tune our offerings is another source of pride for me. And finally, being able to touch lives in meaningful ways is the biggest reason I feel blessed to be a part of the Bachelor’s Degree For Professionals Program.
